Heavy Duty Olympic Barbell Sets
Our Olympic barbell and weight sets are each supplied with a 15kg or 20kg Olympic barbell.
Rug and Rig Olympic barbells are produced from cold rolled steel with a hardwearing chrome plated finish. They feature a 28mm shaft diameter and a 50mm (2 inch) rotating sleeve diameter that’s compatible with all standard IWF Olympic bumper plates.
The rotating sleeves minimise the torque transmitted through the barbell to reduce your risk of strain or injury. They’re also set on durable plastic bushes to allow for smooth rotation across thousands of repetitions.
Our Olympic barbells feature fine knurling for a secure grip and multiple hand placements. This makes them ideal for a wide range of lifts and techniques.

Rug and Rig offers barbell and weight sets with bumper plates with a rubberised finish in black or multicolour.
We’ve put together Olympic bumper plate sets ranging from 50kg-170kg. Our plates have a diameter of 450mm with a 50mm sleeve diameter. They’re manufactured to IWF Olympic standards, so they’re perfect if you’re preparing for a competition.
